Word Science: How To Influence Others To Share More Of Your Content Ross Kimbarovsky | February 11th, 2014

word science

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve read hundreds of posts and articles about content marketing. That’s not a coincidence. Content marketing can be a powerful tool to help grow your business.

But even the best marketers sometimes struggle to come up with consistently good content for their blog posts, whitepapers, social media posts, and emails. The secret to content marketing success is good storytelling, but is there anything you can do beyond telling stories to influence others to share more of your content?

Socially Stacked produced a helpful infographic detailing commonly used popular phrases and buzzwords that tend to increase the likelihood that others will share your content.

Do you agree with the words and phrases in the infographic? Have you found some others that have worked well for you?

From many minds, the perfect design. Post your project today and let the crowd wow you!

It didn’t work with this post. I see it has been shared a total of 26 times.

Also I came here expecting at least an explanation about why these work and I have found nothing. No wonder it hasn’t been shared, it’s just not very good.

I Have a tip about how to get stuff shared. Make it awesome, then the shares come naturally. This post is neither awesome of informative.

    Please try again.

Surya – good advice (make content awesome). I appreciate the candid feedback.

I like this post for being simple and quick to grab. Making content awesome is easy to say…. but actually when you see what people actually share, it’s not really, it simply does something like: unite, inspire or amuse.
