I really like the advice given and I’ve seen it in action where I work. One system that company where I work uses is WorkMeter, which is a software program for this purpose. The company uses it as a constructive tool with us employees. My manager is quite communicative with it as well, not waiting until a review period to let me know how I’m doing overall. I appreciate the clarity in the feedback I’ve gotten from superiors.

The spending on social media has gone up for
small businesses. The reason for it is now 70 % of small businesses are using
social media for marketing reasons. Businesses have their own metrics like fans/friends/followers
to measure their success rate. So, the spending has certainly increased on
social media like Facebook, Orkut, Twitter and others as compared to search
engine marketing.

I’m not a fan at all. I find it extremely bland and boring for a channel like comedy central. It’s more suited for some dull news station. Now, if Comedy Central’s programming consisted ONLY of The Daily Show and the Colbert Report (which I admit is their main draw), I could understand, but they have so much more quirky, fun programming than just these two shows which I don’t feel this logo represents at all.

Business advice can be good or bad but it depends on an
entrepreneur’s intellectual ability to decide on which is really a good advice.
There is a pearl of wisdom in every acquaintances and socialites that an
entrepreneur interacts with. To take the good ideas from them and reject the
bad ones is what matters in order to do successful business.

This seems like great advice, but how do I know? But seriously for a moment, good points and when working with start-ups we focus on playing to the founders strengths and filling the talent gaps as required. RE: speed to market, faster isn’t always better, but every time I hear some say we are growing too fast I think they might be managing too slow. In high (hyper) growth markets, speed can determine winners and losers. That doesn’t mean that should be applied to every business all the time.

These suggestions are really helpful as I have been reviewing my employees for years and have not required them to reflect on their strengths and weaknesses. This is something I can improve on and make it a better review for my employees!
