Every day on the crowdSPRING Twitter account and on my own Twitter account, I post links to posts or videos I enjoyed reading or viewing. These posts and videos are about logo design, web design, startups, entrepreneurship, small business, leadership, social media, marketing, and more! Here are some of the links that I’ve liked and shared this past week!

The graphic above is one frame from an infographic on how small businesses are using social media.  You’ll find that infographic and other articles focusing on social media and marketing, in the Social Media & Marketing section below.

Thanks for the links, some of this stuff is really great! Also, I wanted to through out that I question the one facebook statistic at the top that says 51% of users are more likely to buy a product from a brand they follow or are a fan of.

Does that even mean anything? You follow brands that you really like, so obviously you are more likely to buy from them. There are other ways to interpret this statistic, but it seems to me that most of them would be impossible to prove, or just equally meaningless.

Brian – it’s survey data, so is generalized, but is a high enough number to suggest value for brands in engaging customers. Put another way – would a brand rather advertise to a group of people MORE likely to buy their products, or a random group of people?
