How Would Pablo Picasso Paint The Letter “P”? Ross | July 22nd, 2010

What if some of the world’s most respected artists, including Picasso, Monet, Dr. Seuss, Dalí, Van Gogh and 21 other famous artists were each asked to paint a letter of the English alphabet – in their own unique style? How would each of their letters look?

crowdSPRING’s Audree Rowe wrote and illustrated a fun book for kids and art lovers – Art and the Alphabet. Audree’s book contains fun facts about each artist, and a hand painted illustration of how each artist might have drawn or painted their letter.

Audree is looking for a publisher, so the book isn’t available for purchase (yet). But take my word – it’s awesome!

I can tell by what little I see that your book is amazing! I cannot wait until it is published, and I will be one of the first to purchase. So glad you are still using your creative gifts!

Audree,

This books looks like you could market it to a wide range of audiences! From schools, K-College, artists, design folk all could benefit from something like this. WOW! Let me know when it is published and I will send it out to my educational contacts!

@ Janis – Let the mutual love fest continue! You know I am blown away by your talent… so your words mean a lot to me. Thanks.

@ Casey – I remember showing you some of the early pieces. Your encouragement is appreciated!

@ Caren – You and I think alike! I would have loved a book like this to reference when I was an art teacher. I’ll see if I can find a way to let you know… I don’t think it will be very difficult. :)

@ Ross – Thanks!

Audree!!! This looks like a fantastic book!! I cant wait to be updated on it!! I must admit the cover took me a bit to “read” fully (well not that long, maybe like 5 seconds) but that is what I try and strive for with design.. to engage the buyer with my work! Great job!
